That's a few ideas that I created myself, but also a couple of names that I got from my music magazine target audience questionnaire.
The questionnaire helped me to understand what my T.A expectations are for a magazine, for a name, typography, colours, layout and contents.
My goal is to find a very 'catchy' name which would attract my audience more than anything else.
One of my favorite names is 'PingPong!' because it is actually the name of the EDM song, which means it connotes about my target audience itself and it would be that 'catchy' name for my audience. 'Outsiders' do not really know what that means, sounds like a game name, but it is a song. Plus it is a word game or alliteration (when two or more words in a row starts with the same letter, making it sound more familiar or more attractive)
I was also thinking about either 'EDMzone' or 'Xzone' because these names suggests about something 'dangerous' and for my T.A this suggests about huge parties, festivals, massive crowds.
Moreover my research showed that there exists such thing like 'name letter effect' when people prefer letters that are in their names. This attracts their attention, they are also attracted by the numbers which are in their date of birth.
After I find out about name letter effect I did a research into which letters are mostly common to be into names.
For females it was A, M, S (also common but less C, E, J, L, R)
For males A, J, M, S (also D, E, L, R)
From these letters it might not be possible to build an actual word but it is possible to build acronym which would mean something special for my T.A.(my t.a mostly females).
For example AJM'S which stands for 'And Just Music Stays'
Because females require more 'cheesy' name.
Also when it comes to serif or non serif fonts, my research have shown that 85% of t.a. have chosen the fonts which had serifs. This suggests that my masthead has to be with serifs.
However I am still working on the style of my masthead and still brainstorming new names.
